She has done M. Tech. from G.B. Pant Engineering College, Ghurdauri (Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand). She did her Bachelors from M.A.I.ET. Jaipur (Rajasthan). She has worked on Morphological and Protein Content Alteration in Oryza sativa Under Different Concentration of Iron Stress, during her master degree. She also worked at Harihar Biotech Pvt. Ltd. (Agra), Forest Research Institute (Plant physiology), Dehradun and Health Biotech Ltd. (Himanchal Pradesh). She has worked as a Quality assurance officer at Curetech Skincare (Distt. Solan, Himachal Pradesh). She has research and teaching experience in the area of biotechnology, molecular biology, bioinformatics, and rural livelihood. She is trained professional on Fresh water pearl culture, Hydroponic Growing Techniques, Operation and Maintenance of Solar Greenhous, Chemical and microbial analysis of raw and finished pharmaceuticals etc. She has attended and coordinated many seminar, workshop and training programs and has published many research papers in journal of repute. She has also coordinated many scientific and technical events. She looks after Community Radio, Digital Studio, Traditional Knowledge System, Education Policy, Documentation and Publication work of the Council.
