Himanshu goel did his Bachelors from Dehradun Institute of Technology in Information Technology. He has done his masters from G.B Pant Engg. College Pauri Garhwal in Computer Science & Engg. Branch. He qualified GATE three times and has also Qualifies the USET (Uttarakhand State Eligibility test) 2015. His Major research area includes Virtualization, load balancing, security and scheduling in cloud computing. He has also activily participate in the area of Big data analysis, hadoop and map reduce algorithms. He did his masters on "An adaptive privileged multi-objective workflow scheduling algorithm for cloud environment ". He has published one research paper in International Journal .

He has also attended many seminar, workshops and short term courses in prestigious college like GBPEC, DIT and Graphic Era Bhimtal. He has also participated in Microsoft Student program in Amarpali Institute, haldwani and has activily participate in organizing many short term courses on Cloud Computing in college.
