Mr. Vikas Chander is a post graduate in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU), Dehradun. He has more than 03 years of research experience in R&D projects on "Physical and Chemical Analysis, Testing, Training & Awareness of Potable Water & Water Source of Uttarakhand State" and "Studies on Pollution of Drinking Water Sources in Uttarakhand with Identification of Source of Pollution & Remedial Measures". Currently he is also pursuing Ph.D in Pharmacy from UTU.
He has published six research papers in National and International journals and three books on "Traditional Crops of Uttarakhand"; "Wild Edibles of Uttarakhand" and "Spices of Uttarakhand". He has presented more than ten research papers in various conference and seminar, and also actively participated in more than 25 conference, seminar, symposium and workshop. He has received training on "RP-HPLC Method Development and Validation" from Jubilant Life Sciences, and on "Water Quality Analysis and Monitoring" from National Institute of Hydrology (NIH), State Level Water Quality Analysis Laboratory Uttarakhand Jal Sansthan and Central Ground Water Board Dehradun. He is a Life Member of Indian Science Congress Association, Kolkata and Academy of Microscope Science & Technology, Kanpur.
