Mr. Manoj K. Singh by training has expertise in computer applications (MCA) like web development, database administration, programming in JAVA, C, C++ and .Net however by experience has garnered expertise in IP related issues like conducting patent search, organizing IPR workshops and facilitation in IP filing.

He has more than 16 years of experience. He has 10 research papers, technical reports and popular articles to his credit. He was also editor of UCOST quarterly magazine for 7 years. He is working in UCOST since last 12 Years. Previously he was working with NIC for Uttarakhand Health System funded Project at Rudrapur & Bageshwar. He has also done 4 months Industrial training From Department of Electronics & Information Technology Govt. of India New Delhi.
He has done an industrial survey of MSMEs in three districts of Uttarakhand: Dehradun, Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar. He has digitalized a dataset of MSMEs which was taken from directorate of industries after that it was analysed and a cluster wise distribution of MSMEs was done. A report was published and appreciated by various newspapers. He has contributed in the state of the environment report (SOER) in Industry chapter. Apart from this he has compiled a state S&T resource directory published by UCOST. He has published three articles in current science named; Bioeconomy & Women Welfare, Technological Empowerment of Women & Scientific Paper Writing and Budget Allocation to State S&T Councils. He is expert in delivering IPR lectures in the state. He has delivered more than 20 lectures on IPR & ICT and organized more than 250 workshops/Seminars on different state specific issues.
Presently he is associated with Patent Searching, IPR awareness activities, International Travel grant cell & Science Popularization cell in the council. He is also a member of the editorial team of council's quarterly newsletter & web development.
