Dr. Aswal, Ph.D. in entomology from HNB Garhwal University has more than 10 years of experience in the field of agriculture, organic farming and extension programmes. Earlier he was working with Uttarakhand Organic Board as Project coordinator at Majhkhali, Ranikhet supervising the activities of the center. He has nearly 30 scientific publications to his credit in reputed journals . He is also a recipient of outstanding scientist award (2009) & Young scientist award (2011)
He is working as Scientific Assistant in the Council since 2012 and assisting in centrally sponsored projects. He has got professional trainings from G B Pant Ag. & Technology University, CCS University, Hariyana and LBS academy Mussorie in Science & Technology. He is member of Entomological Society of India, Plant Protection Association of India and Doctors Krishi Bhagwani Vikas Sanstha Lucknow.
Achievements: He has Developed the package of practice for control of amaranth leaf webber and various other serous insect pest for organic crop production.
He has trained more than ten thousands farmers in the state for organic crop protection.
