Dr. Joshi is having 15 years of research and development experience in the field of Microbial Biotechnology. During his PhD, from H.N.B. Garhwal Central University, Srinagar, Uttarakhand, he has worked on "Isolation and molecular characterization of cold tolerant phosphate solubilizing bacteria from North Western Indian Himalayas", with his expertise on study related to microbial genetic diversity/ biodiversity analysis, molecular biology, bioinformatics tools, plant growth promotion microorganisms and biofertilizers. He has published his research findings in several peer-reviewed journals, book chapters and has won awards at national and international conferences and competitions.
Dr. Joshi was selected for prestigious Dutch Visitors Programme (DVP) by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, The Netherlands on subject related to Bio-based Economy. He has attended two summer schools at Cambridge University, U.K and at National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece respectively. Dr. Joshi was selected for the short term exchange programme, during which he has visited several Institutes and Universities, of three European countries (Germany, Belgium and Netherlands), he was also invited for an interactive workshop at Italian National agency for new technologies, Energy and sustainable economic (ENEA), Rome, Italy.
Dr. Joshi has gained experience by working in some esteemed national institutes like National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI, CSIR), Vivekananda Institute of Hill Agriculture (VIHA, ICAR) and The Energy and Research Institute (TERI), New Delhi, India. He was also appointed as nodal researcher during his work on an Indo-European collaborative research programme on "Strengthening networking on bio-mass research and bio-waste conversion-Biotechnology for Europe India Integration" (SAHYOG). Currently, he is exploring new avenues in the field of Renewable energy, Bioeconomy and Sustainability research.
